OPAL BOY Biography

OPAL BOY, whose real name is Rwotmara William, is a Ugandan artist and songwriter born on November 5, 2003, in Pader Town council, Pader District, located in the Acholi region of northern Uganda. OPAL BOY is recognized for his contributions to the Ugandan music scene, particularly in the genres of DANCEHALL song. As of now, he continues to be an active figure in the Ugandan music industry, contributing to the global appreciation of African music. Growing up, he was exposed to a mix of local and international music, frequently listening to radio, cassettes, and later, digital music platforms. From a young age, he showed passion for poetry, spoken word, and storytelling — often writing short rhymes and verses in school.
