South Sudan rebels abduct the prime minister of ker kwaro Acholi

The rebels in the South Sudan have abducted the prime minister of Ker Kwaro Acholi Oola Ambrose while doing a consultancy work with the world vision in South Sudan.
According to the Paramount Chief of Acholi , Rwot Onen David Acana II, Oola was abducted yesterday from south Sudan.
The family members have confirmed his abduction.
His wife Mrs Kipwola Anne Oola said they are in touch with the world Vision in South Sudan who are trying to negotiate with the rebels.
It is believed Oola and six others were abducted while on duty in Yambio county.
The city is located in Yambio County, Gbudwe State, in southwestern South Sudan, close to the International border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo,444km by road west of Juba and and was also capital of the former Western Equatoria State.
This area of South Sudan suffers from very high rates of poverty, severe malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, lack of safe water, and a wide array of diseases. The community has frequently been subject to displacement due to violence and insecurity in the area, especially over the last few years.
