Northen Uganda’s legendary artist, Raster Bosmick Joyce Otim has advised Nwoya District councils to follow what Gulu district council has done to sachets packed alcoholic drinks in the District.
The legendary singer while holding his welcome back from America tour at Patira Pub Olwiyo in Nwoya District talked seriously on the dangers which the district is risking the youths into of by allowing the sells and consumption of local sachets packed alcoholic drinks in the district.
Bosmick sighted out idle and disorder as one of the risks the District is likely to face if the highly abuse drugs specifically the sachets alcohol is not ban from the district.
He also warned seriously rasterfarians in Nwoya of practising evil activities like alcohol abuse, rape, theft which tarnish the religious faith of rasterfarism.
Bosmick along with renown raster Jah Fire warns any youth trying to abuse drugs in the name of practising rasterfarism to quit the actions with immediate effect because if caught, he or she will not like it from them rasterfarians.
Gulu district early this year banished the selling and consumption of local sachets packed alcoholic drinks.
The by-law had helped in curving the rate of alcohol abuse in the district.
Raster Bosmick Joyce Otim further adviced the youths to engage in money production activities such as farming rather than drugs abuse.
