Dear Northern Uganda artist,

I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a sense of disappointment in your attitude towards your career in the entertainment world. It seems that you have come into this industry with high expectations of support from the government, without putting in the hard work and dedication required to sustain yourself on this journey.

Let me remind you that in life, you harvest the crops you grow. If you expect to reap success and recognition in the music industry, you must first sow the seeds of talent, perseverance, and dedication. It is not enough to sit back and wait for handouts from the government or accuse those who have worked hard to pave their own way in the industry.

I urge you to stop looking for shortcuts to success and to stop blaming others for your own shortcomings. It is not fair to accuse individuals like Salim Sale, who have generously given from their own pockets to support artists like yourself, of misusing government funding. Salim Sale has no official money allocated to him by the government; he gives out of his own goodwill and desire to support the arts in our community.

Furthermore, it is important to remember that Salim Sale, like many others in the industry, has a family to care for and financial responsibilities to uphold. It is unjust and disrespectful to expect him to continuously provide for you without any effort on your part.

I urge you to shift your mindset and approach your music career with a sense of responsibility, determination, and gratitude for those who support you along the way. Success in this industry does not come easy, but with hard work, persistence, and a positive attitude, you can your goals and make a name for yourself.

I hope you take this message to heart and make the necessary changes to ensure a successful and fulfilling journey in the entertainment world.

Sincerely,
 PRINCE YUBU
