The Uganda Cranes national soccer team Custodian Coach Mulutin Micho has named a 18 man squad ready to travel to Senegal and Ethiopia for international friendlies before tussling it out with Cape Verde in the Afcon 2019 qualification campaign later this month.
Before announcing the final shortlist, the preliminary squad had over 40 players and the team has enjoyed bulid up matches mention beating on the Copa select dream team by six goals to one and today winning Azam Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA 1-O, a 53minute penalty by Farouk Miya.

The team is expected to travel today to Ethiopia for an International friendly with the hosts at Awasa International Stadium on Saturday before summing it up in Dakar with Senegal and the fly to Cape Verde for the first Afcon 2019 group match against Cape Verde on the 10th of June 2017.
