The guy who fights hard to change Northern Uganda's music industry to celebrate 14 years in the entertainment sector, how Kash Owakabi changed the music industry in the North.

When it comes to mapping how Northern Uganda's music industry revolves and those who contribute to it, only a few individuals and entities are mentioned likes of Bosmic otim for holding it for long,Juma jami, Lumix da don, Mzee B, Mc wangjok for being the first guy to get 13millionsugx for a single show,Brazen Rule, Badman Nerio, Daimaond Film, Odong Romeo & Eezzy for the most view videos both at 3.1millions views, Akanyango, Pine Avenue5, NorthernBuzz for creating songs digital access gateway with over 10,000+ downloads a day, luotunes, spragga promotion intoodeep and many but Kash Owakabi is one of the guys who dedicates his life in changing Northern Uganda music industry but he don't always get the credits he deserves that's why today we are mapping some of Owakabi contribution in this industry.
According to research, 99% of Kash Owakabi's revenue and income is genetated via entertainment, He will be celebrating 14 years in Uganda Entertainment industry this Saturday 15th, June at Da Covenant Gulu but before the event date is reached let's try to map some of Kash Owakabi contribution in this music industry.
1- Kash Owakabi joined the entertainment industry while he was still in school. As Mc he mcee in 1,584 events since he joined the industry.
2- Around 2015, the Northern Uganda music industry was backward in displaying its branding to the public in terms of artwork release, posters designed, and other branding materials. Without Kash Owakabi things would have not been like these in this sector. he brought computation in this line by doing professional designs artworks and posters.
3-We have to remember that Gulu Just became the second music powerhouse in Uganda 2years ago, second music powerhouse we are meaning it's now very hard for promoters to bring artists from Kampala due to low turn-up because of low play time.. In Gulu now, 65% of the songs played is Northern Uganda songs, 15% from central, and the remaining % from other part of the world. Before that, for the Northern artist to perform in town, he or she has to be a curtain raiser. those days Kash Owakabi Loobies a lot of shows including KAMPALA artist Extra concert to Northern Uganda hence making artists earn.
4-Kash Owakabi founded and organizes alot of music awards including 'Swagg Team Teens Awards' .perticipants of the award are the ones who are running the music industry of today.
5 - Before Kash Owakabi exited/left NUMA Awards in 2019, Kash played a Big role in Digitalizing and modernizing NUMA Awards. He is the main reason NUMA is digitalized hence increasing a lot in transparency of the Award.
6- Kash Owakabi introduced Swagg Team Magazine which was 100% focused on publishing Northern Uganda content, hence giving a lot of publicity to Upcoming Artists by then the likes of Laxzy , Blamo, Eddy Wizzy, and others were still upcomers.
7- As a radio presenter too Kash Owakabi contributed by giving a lot of air plays to Northern music.
8- Via his show 'Laught with Owakabi Comedy' , Kash changes the face of the Northern Uganda Entertainment industry by bringing a lot of international Comedians to Northern Uganda.
9- Kash Owakabi did a lot to Northern Uganda's music industry..we can't list all the contributions today. we will be listing all 25 contributions he made to the industry on 15th,June Saturday. the day he will celebrate 14years in the industry.
